Between 5-6th February 2018, a pair of Typhoons transited through Luqa on their way for delivery to the Royal Air Force of Oman. These were the 9th and 10th examples out of a batch of 12 ordered by the Omani Air Force. To date, these were the first and only two examples that travelled through Malta on their way to delivery. The aircraft, serials ‘215’ and ‘216’ departed Luqa in dull and grey weather as can be seen in the images below. Hopefully the last two examples to be delivered will do the same and pass back through Malta!
