Government of Namibia Dassault Falcon 7X visits Malta

A Dassault Falcon 7X operated by the Government of Namibia visited Malta International Airport during the final week of October 2026, providing an unusual visitor from southern Africa for local aircraft enthusiasts. Registered ‘V5-GON’, the aircraft was tracked arriving at Luqa on 26 October and returning on 29 October. It departed Malta again in the early hours of 30 October, with flight-tracking records subsequently identifying Ondangwa, Namibia, as its destination.

The Falcon 7X is a long-range business jet manufactured by French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation. Powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A turbofan engines, it combines intercontinental range with the ability to cruise at high altitude. Dassault quotes a range of approximately 5,950 nautical miles (11,020 km), depending on the specified operating conditions.
